Message from the General Chair
For over seven decades, the DRC has brought together leading scientists, researchers, and students to share their latest discoveries in device science, technology and modeling. A brief history of the DRC can be found in the 75th edition article. This year marks the 77th anniversary of the DRC--the longest running device research meeting in the world. As we commemorate this conference, high-caliber technical sessions will be accented by plenary speakers by international leaders to highlight the transformative results that are shaping the modern World.
The DRC is coordinated with the Electronic Materials Conference (EMC) which is held during the same week. This recognizes the importance of interaction between device and electronic materials research and provides for fruitful exchange of information between attendees of both conferences.
Key attractions of the 77th DRC include:
More details on the short course, invited speakers, and special sessions will be announced as they become available. For additional inquiries please contact the conference chairs.
We hope to see you at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the summer of 2019!
Best regards,
General Chair: Deji Akinwande, University of Texas - Austin
Technical Program Chair: Siddharth Rajan, Ohio State University
Technical Program Vice-Chair: Zhihong Chen, Purdue University
